Update

I just got off the phone with Kristen Lemieux at Congressman Rick Larsen's office. She says that the story about the PM going to Canada isn't true. She said the PM was out of the country today, but that he is meeting with the US Ambassador to Haiti tomorrow and that our children's files are their top priority.

I cried and then I told her that I really appreciated that but that until my children were on this continent I wasn't sure who to believe anymore.

So... this is why I say, "Stay put". If we can get word that they're moving we can figure out where exactly our children have been put or which shelter they are being moved to.

Stay tuned for more details.

What a mess. I hate the fact that these people can just play with these precious lives, as if they were merely pieces on a chess board. You guys are in every prayer that is said here at our house.

I am with Babes in Hairland, every prayer that is uttered in this house by adult and child whether for food, or morning or night, anything, there is mention of and request of blessings for especially the children and parents and Jessica but also the Haitian people trying to rebuild their lives and the people there helping them do so. It is a mess, but we must keep faith. Lori- You are an inspiration to us all. Your faith and work is amazing.

I just found this quote last night; thought it might be appropriate:

"Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn."
- Harriet Beecher Stowe

Lori, prayers are still going up for you and the children; for Brent and the team. I was so mad when I read the last posting, I could have kicked someone/thing. Love ya' and hang in there and take care of yourself.

Lori,
I am so sorry things didn't work out for tonight. But whatever you do not let your head hang for even a second. You have insipered me and my other people to do what it right and to become a person. The Lord has not forgotten you if anything he is there with you proud as He can be at how His child has risen to the occasion. He is teaching you great things in these great trials. In my 2 failed adoptions I just kept saying please let me learn what I need to from this so I don't have to go through it a again. There is a song called Ninety and Nine that I think would help you it did me. Your are in my prayers, as well, as all the families in your boat. Keep your head up, it will happen on the Lords time that is the hardest part.

Hopeful in Preston
