Do you know where Jake is from? I kinda of assumed Utah but one of the KSL stories said the Sun Country Plane came from Minnesota. Also do you know if Avrie and Destina are Category 1 or 2? Sorry for the questions, just don't have a way to get a hold of Michelle.
Oh crud! I spelled his last name Yonkers in my email. Hopefully they'll know who I was talking about. But Yonkers made for some great ideas- something about saving us from "out in Yonkers", or I'm sure there's something cool related to New York in there. This has nothing to do with your question, but I have been reading your blog and praying for those sweet little children. I was just watching FOX 13 news tonight and they said that 140 something kids got on that plane!! Is that true? I really hope so. My heart goes out to all of the parents waiting for their babies to come home. Fly safe little Haitian Angels!! Oh and WAY TO GO JAKE YOCKERS!!! Oprah would love to hear about him!!!

I think he is from Minnesota but I'm basing that on KSL
I have no idea what status any of the kids are now. EVERYONE has to go to Florida.

Jake did what was right
Won't go down without a fight
Get him on the news in Utah and in his home market. That'll get sympathy for him so that if anything happens they'll think twice about it.
Better yet, get him on the Today show and 20/20 and all over the place as a hero for saving children!
Posted about him on Oprah.com - she has a site about Haiti and a ton of people are looking at it.
